bbuddy is an AI co-worker for social media. It researches, writes, schedules and publishes posts in a brand's own voice across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Threads. We sell bbuddy to brands, marketing agencies, creators and online shops. We are hiring a Sales Manager to build and lead a small remote sales team: hire the reps, coach them, set the process they sell by, run the cadence that keeps the pipeline honest, and carry a team number you are accountable for. This is a leadership role for a player-coach, someone who still loves closing and now wants to multiply their results through a team. This role is fully remote and open worldwide.
You will own the sales engine, not just a patch of pipeline. That means deciding how we prospect, how we qualify, how we demo and how we forecast, then drilling it into a team and holding them to it. bbuddy sells on a live demo: most prospects understand it the moment they watch it publish in their own voice, so a big part of the job is teaching reps to run that demo well and turn it into a signed customer. You will still sell some deals yourself, both to stay sharp and to model what good looks like, but the leverage you create is through the people you lead.
What you will do
- Hire and onboard a small team of remote sales reps: define the bar, run the interviews, and ramp new hires to productive selling quickly.
- Coach every rep individually: sit in on demos and calls, review recordings, give specific feedback, and turn weak spots into repeatable strengths.
- Set and own the sales process end to end: how we prospect brands, agencies, creators and online shops, how we qualify, how we demo bbuddy publishing in a brand's own voice across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Threads, and how we close.
- Run the operating cadence: weekly pipeline reviews, one to ones, deal inspection and a forecast the whole company can plan against.
- Carry a team number: you are accountable for the team's pipeline and closed revenue, not only for your own deals.
- Keep selling personally: own a handful of deals so you stay close to the market and lead from the front rather than from a spreadsheet.
- Build the playbook: capture what wins, document objection handling and demo flow, and make sure every rep sells from the same sharp script.
- Manage performance honestly: set clear targets, spot when a rep is off track early, coach them back, and make the hard calls when coaching is not enough.
- Feed real market signal back to the team building bbuddy: the objections, pricing reactions and feature requests your reps surface across their territories.
What you bring
- A track record closing in B2B sales, ideally software, SaaS, marketing services or tools sold to brands, agencies, creators or online shops, with deals you personally signed.
- Real experience leading salespeople: you have hired, onboarded, coached and held reps to a number, whether as a team lead, sales manager or founder who built the first sales motion.
- Fluency in the operating mechanics of a sales team: pipeline reviews, deal inspection, forecasting and the cadence that keeps a remote team accountable.
- A genuine coaching instinct: you would rather make five reps better than do everything yourself, and you can teach a demo and a close, not just perform one.
- Comfort being a player-coach: you still want to carry some deals and lead from the front.
- Fluent, persuasive English for leading a team, running demos and writing the playbook; any additional language is a plus.
- Self-direction to build and run a remote team across time zones without being managed closely yourself.
- A real feel for social media and how brands, agencies, creators and shops actually use it day to day.
