bbuddy is an AI co-worker for social media. It researches, writes, schedules and publishes posts in a brand's own voice across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Threads. We sell bbuddy to brands, marketing agencies, creators and online shops. We are hiring a senior Business Development Manager to open net-new ground: new segments, larger accounts and partnership-led deals that a transactional sales motion does not reach. This is a senior individual-contributor role, not a people-management one. You carry your own number, you own a territory, and you build the relationships and deals that move it.

This is a hunting role, not an order-taking one. Where an account executive works an existing pipeline, you create the pipeline that does not exist yet: identifying the segments worth entering, getting to decision-makers at larger brands and agency groups, and structuring the kind of strategic and partnership deals (agency rollouts, reseller and platform partnerships, multi-brand accounts) that open a whole market rather than a single logo. You will have real autonomy to shape go-to-market in your territory and a direct line to the team building bbuddy. The role is fully remote and open worldwide, working in your own region's languages and business hours.

What you will do

  • Own new-business development for a territory end to end: choose the segments to attack, build the target list of larger accounts and partners, and open them yourself.
  • Hunt net-new at a higher level: reach founders, marketing leaders and agency principals, and build the senior relationships that strategic deals require.
  • Structure and close strategic and partnership-led deals, from agency rollouts and multi-brand accounts to reseller and platform partnerships that put bbuddy in front of many customers at once.
  • Run sharp, executive-level demos that show bbuddy publishing in a brand's own voice across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Threads, and translate that into a clear business case for a larger buyer.
  • Shape go-to-market in your territory: test positioning, pricing reactions and partner models, and tell the team what is working so the motion can be repeated.
  • Negotiate and close larger, longer-cycle deals, managing multiple stakeholders and a real buying process to a signed agreement.
  • Build a partner and referral engine so each relationship you open leads to the next, and keep your pipeline, forecast and account plans honest.
  • Carry the signal from the field back to product and marketing, since you are often first into a new segment and see what it needs before anyone else.

What you bring

  • A senior track record opening net-new business and closing larger or more complex deals, ideally in software, SaaS, marketing services or agency-facing sales.
  • Genuine hunter instincts: you are energised by cold ground, comfortable getting to senior decision-makers, and persistent through a longer cycle.
  • Experience structuring deals beyond a simple transaction, such as partnerships, channel or reseller arrangements, agency rollouts or multi-stakeholder accounts.
  • The maturity to own a territory and a number with real autonomy, run your own go-to-market judgement, and operate without close management.
  • Strong executive presence and storytelling: you can run a demo and a business case in the same conversation and hold the room with a senior buyer.
  • Fluent, persuasive English for outreach, demos and negotiation; any additional language widens the territory you can open.
  • A genuine feel for how brands, agencies, creators and shops use social media, and why bbuddy changes the economics of keeping up with it.
  • A reliable remote setup and the discipline to build and run a senior pipeline from anywhere.
